An excellent place to go study, as well as a wide variety of books, but can be unbearably loud once the children come in. A bit small, but nice and clean. Some staff are more helpful than others, but overall it’s a good library if you want to take your child there, and it is also in close proximity to McMaster University.

Very nice and clean place, it has many learning resources that you can access at this location or at home through their website and your library card. I find it very convenient that there is a YMCA right in the same building, in case one wants to do some physical activities.

I love this library. I basically grew up near it because I went to the schools around it, as well as started living in the area once I hit my teens. I even remember it before the renovations when it was much smaller, but I do know the changes were beneficial and there's much more room now.The workers here are lovely and friendly, it's a great space for kids to frequent when they're really young, and to find books as they get older. The collection here is really great, I myself visit often looking for history books to read.I just really appreciate the quiet and the space in my area!

Very helpful librarians. Could make my library card instantly in my first visit. The place has a positive vibe and a right amount of silence! The English book collection can be increased along with a few more seats.

We arrived before opening hours and didn't realize it was not open. The staff member entering was very kind in offering to take in anything I need while we waited, and she sought my 3 year old daughter and I out when we came back at the right time, seeing if she could help us locate anything. Lovely people.

Nice serene place to study, read and enjoy the literary world.Has the usual free seminars and courses too. I found it a bit simpler and at a smaller scale than its elder sister in Toronto that is Toronto public library.Prepaid service for colour and black white paper printing is also available which I find very useful and better than using Staples or UPS. 3 D printing also available.Staff is cordial. Ambience is quiet and clean.Sometimes in a few branches of Toronto Public library one used to experience too much of noise. Not here. It's far better in that respect.Fiction department is huge. That doesn't have any lacunas.I wish and hope that they increase reference book section. For the moment non fiction/reference section is way too limited to term as worthy of being library. It also needs to be more inclusive by adding more Urdu , Hindi and Chinese books. That I saw expertly done at Toronto public library but not so much here.Overall in line with demographics, usual demands of patrons, this library looks to be doing ok.

I just find it irresponsible to keep the library closed for so many monthsWhy would it not have been possible to keep a skeletal staff and have people order and pick up books or dvds at the door as so many stores didI think it’s really very inconsiderate not to make the life of people who were locked in their homes more pleasurable by offering to take out something to read and be entertainedIt doesn’t make any sense to me to have your doors closed when people had so much time to read ( while government owned liquor and marijuana stores were open!!!!)
